Yetunde got interested in transforming lives because of her childhood experience as a young adolescent growing up in a polygamous setting without secure attachment. Yetunde lost her mum at an exceedingly early age; dad had so many wives. Yetunde was fortunate to find a secure attachment outside of her family.

Adolescence is a time of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional changes. Adolescents experience significant changes in their family relations, school environments, and peer group affiliations that impact their motivation and learning (Berks & Meyers, 2016). Extant literature revealed that the adolescent brain undergoes extensive remodeling in response to the experiences during development (Berks & Meyers, 2015; Hutchinson, 2015). Yetunde is therefore committed to providing socio-emotional support to help children of all ages navigate their childhood experiences. Yetunde is a visionary problem solver and a planner who takes up challenges head-on with a proven record of success in mentoring and advocating for adolescents, teenagers, and young adults.

Yetunde's most significant professional accomplishment is her understanding of the precipitating factors that may be responsible for children's behavioral, socio-emotional, and academic performance. She plans, facilitates, coordinates, advocates, and evaluates the options and services available to meet students' needs to excel in life. Yetunde understands the importance of helping students to learn accordingly to their interests and needs.
